Fortnite Collab Skins by Series: Star Wars, Superheroes, Anime and Gaming Legends

Fortnite collab skins are the outfits made under licence, and the catalog files them under the five licensed series as read on 9 September 2026 — Icon Series, Marvel Series, Gaming Legends, Star Wars Series and DC Series — plus a growing group of collaborations that carry no series badge at all, which is where every anime outfit lives. This guide follows each licence through the full catalog, lists the outfits that defined it, and explains the badge rule, because "superhero skins" and "anime skins" are two of the most-searched groups and neither maps neatly onto a series.
How series badges work
A series badge is the label Epic keeps on a licensed outfit instead of a rarity tier, and it is the one part of the old tier system that survived the April 2024 removal of rarity colours. Five badges are licences — Marvel, DC, Star Wars, Gaming Legends and Icon (real people) — and the sixth, Crew, marks the subscription line. Everything else, including every anime collaboration, every film tie-in outside those studios and the Simpsons outfits, is filed under an ordinary tier, usually Epic. The rarity tiers guide covers the whole system; this page follows the licences.
Star Wars skins
The Star Wars Series begins with Rey and Kylo Ren in December 2019 during Chapter 2 Season 1, released around the film event of that month, and peaking with Darth Vader as the Chapter 3 Season 3 Battle Pass headline in June 2022 — the first Star Wars outfit inside a pass. The series has grown in May bursts around Star Wars Day and in dedicated mini-seasons, and it is the most consistently returning licence in the shop, which makes it the easiest collab group to actually buy. Rey and Kylo Ren remain the reference outfits; Darth Vader is pass-locked.

Marvel Series is the largest licensed series after Icon, and it arrived in bulk: Deadpool as the Chapter 2 Season 2 secret outfit in early 2020, then the whole Chapter 2 Season 4 pass in August 2020 — Thor at tier 1, Storm, Wolverine as the season's secret reward — followed by Venom and Ghost Rider in the shop that autumn. Spider-Man in the Chapter 3 Season 1 pass and Iron Man's 2025 shop release are the later landmarks. DC Series is smaller, opened by Harley Quinn in February 2020, with the 2025 Superman film outfit the newest headline.
Not every superhero is licensed. The Boundless set from Chapter 2 Season 4 — Hunter, Polarity, Joltara and their teammates — is a run of fully customisable Legendary originals at 1,800 V-Bucks, filed under Legendary rather than any series, and it is what most "superhero skin" searches are actually looking for, because the customisable colours made them the competitive community's uniform. The sweaty skins guide covers that use.

LegendaryC2 · S4Anime skins: no badge, mostly Epic tier
Anime outfits carry no series badge and are filed under ordinary tiers, which is why the catalog finds them by name rather than by label. The Naruto drop in November 2021 — Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, Kakashi Hatake and Sakura — arrived as Epic-tier outfits at 1,500 V-Bucks; Dragon Ball in August 2022 mixed tiers, with Vegeta Legendary, Beerus Epic and Bulma Rare; Bleach in December 2025 brought Ichigo Kurosaki as an Epic. The result is that anime skins sit inside the large Epic tier and can only be found by name, a pattern the anime searches on this site are filed against directly.

Gaming Legends Series began with two outfits on consecutive weeks in December 2020: Kratos on 4 December and Master Chief on 11 December, both shop releases during Chapter 2 Season 5. Ryu and Chun-Li followed in February 2021, Lara Croft went into the Chapter 2 Season 6 pass in March 2021, and Solid Snake headlined the Chapter 5 Season 1 pass in December 2023. The current Chapter 7 Season 4 "Override" season is the series' busiest stretch in years, with Sonic in the pass and Mega Man, Mega Man X and Zero added to the API on 7 September 2026 for the shop. The Battle Pass guide has the pass side of that.

Icon Series is the largest licensed series and covers real people — streamers, musicians, athletes — starting with Ninja in January 2020 and Bugha, the 2019 World Cup winner, in July 2021. It is a catalogue of its own and this site does not rank it; the two are shown here because they define what the badge means. The remaining collaborations with no badge include film and television tie-ins outside Marvel, DC and Star Wars: Rick Sanchez and Peter Griffin (Chapter 2 Season 7 and Chapter 5 Season 1 passes), Homer Simpson from the November 2025 mini-season, Jack Skellington from October 2023 and Snake Eyes from January 2021 all sit under Epic or Legendary tiers.

EpicC6 · S6Telling a licensed outfit apart in the shop
Since April 2024 the shop shows no rarity, so the badge is the only label a collab outfit carries, and it changes what you can expect. A badged outfit — Marvel, DC, Star Wars, Gaming Legends, Icon — is priced by the licence, usually 1,500 to 2,000 V-Bucks and often only as part of a bundle with its back bling and pickaxe; it tends to return on the licence's calendar (Star Wars around May, Marvel around film releases) rather than on the shop's own rhythm. A no-badge collab — the anime drops, the Simpsons, film tie-ins — behaves like an ordinary Epic outfit: priced on the old ladder more often than not, and rotated like any original. The catalog files both kinds by tier, so a search for the name tells you which you are looking at before the shop does.
What the licence mix says
Licensed outfits are a minority of the de-duplicated catalog, and even with the no-badge collaborations added, most outfits are still Epic's own characters. The licences also skew toward the pass: Thor, Spider-Man, Lara Croft, Darth Vader, Solid Snake and Sonic were all pass outfits, which means the biggest collab headlines are the ones you cannot buy. For which crossovers can be bought in a given week, the shop is the only source; this catalog files them so you know the tier and the year when they come round.
