Privacy policy

OutfitAtlas is a static website that serves every image from its own domain. The one third party that can be involved in simply reading a page is Google Analytics 4, and only once analytics is allowed — the next section explains how that works.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC and Google Ireland Ltd., to see which outfit pages are read. GA4 measures the pages you view, the site that referred you, your approximate location (city or country), your device and browser type, and session timing. It does not log or store IP addresses. Advertising features, Google signals and ad personalisation are turned off, so none of this is used for advertising, and none of it is sold.

The cookies involved are GA4's first-party _ga and _ga_<ID>. They last up to two years and are set only after analytics is allowed; OutfitAtlas sets no others of its own.

If you visit from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, a banner asks you first, and nothing is sent to Google unless you click Accept. Elsewhere, analytics is on by default and you can switch it off at any time. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, you are treated as opted out. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage under the key analytics-consent, not as a cookie.

You can change your analytics choice at any time. Google's privacy policy explains how Google handles the data, and its opt-out browser add-on blocks Google Analytics if you prefer.

Links marked as affiliate links route through this site's /go/ path to a reseller's website. Once you arrive there, that reseller's own privacy policy applies, and it may set cookies to attribute a purchase to this site. We receive no personal data from that process — only aggregate commission reports.

Newsletter form

The email form on some pages is front-end only at present; submitting it stores nothing on our servers. When it is connected to a mailing service, this page will name the provider and the retention period before the first email is sent.

Your rights

If you have written to us, we hold your email and message only as long as needed to reply. Ask at [email protected] and it will be deleted. This policy was last updated on 9 October 2026.
